GRACE E. LANDIS, 77, of Alliance, OH, formerly of Irondale, passed away Sunday, December 04, 2005 in McCrea Manor Nursing Home, Alliance following an extended illness. She was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was born in Bergholz, OH, March 31, 1928, a daughter of the late Raymond and Artie Mackey Wade. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Landis who died February 20, 2000 and by 5 brothers, Grover, Herb, Lindsay, John and Steve Wade and one sister, Eileen Wade. She is survived by her daughters, Carol J. Landis and Crystle K. (Harry) Smith, and by her grandchildren, Sandra (John) Manastra, Jeremy and Jason Smith all of Alliance, OH; by 3 brothers, Joseph (Jolly), Sebring, Warren (Sharon), Beloit and Gary Robert (Kathy), Atwater; and by 4 sisters, Betty Montgomery, Alliance, Helen Kreps, Bergholz, Alma Flora, Sebring and Mable (Gary) Hartman, Toronto. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with funeral services at the funeral home Thursday at 1 PM with the Reverend Frank Hudson officiating.
