GARRY L. SHULTZ, 64, of Bergholz, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center West ER, Steubenville, OH, following a sudden illness.
He was born in Steubenville, September 29, 1944 to the late Albert and Grace Varon Shultz. He retired from Weirton Steel as foreman of the boiler house and was a Vietnam veteran of the US Marine Corp; a member of the Amsterdam VFW and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cathie (Raveaux) Shultz, a son, Michael Shultz of Carnegie, PA, a step son, Mark Konchar, Pasadena, MD, a step daughter, April Harbert, Pasadena, MD, a grandson, Aerik Harbert of Pasadena, MD, 5 brothers, Larry Shultz of St. Louis, MO, Alan and Art Shultz of Toronto, OH, John and Jim White of Follansbee, WV and a sister, Velma (Dominic) Cili of Mingo Jct.
A Memorial Picnic will be held at the Amsterdam VFW Hall on Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 2 until 6 PM with a service at 2:30 PM. All are invited to attend.
