Obituary

GEORGE SCOTT "Scooter" HILL, 44, of Bloomingdale, OH, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on St. Rt. 646. He was a welder for Alex Paris Construction. Scooter was a hunter and will be remembered for his humor and as a friend to all who knew him. He was born January 19, 1963 in Steubenville, OH. He is preceded in death by his father, George Scott Hill, Sr, who died in 1964 and a brother, Gary Hanlin who died in 2004. He is survived by his mother, Ruth (Harris) Hanlin and his step-father, Eugene Hanlin of Bloomingdale, a brother, Randy Hanlin, Richmond, 3 sisters, Sharon (Keith) Poole, Malvern, Jeanne (Mike) Baker, Amsterdam and Brenda (Randy) Byron, Toronto and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM with Pastors Andy and Kathy Anderson officiating.
