George Yaich, Jr., 76, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away January 9, 2021 at Weirton Medical Center.

He was born May 29, 1944 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late George and Carolyn (Mandich) Yaich.

George served his country in the United States Army Reserves for eight years.

George was Christian by faith.

He retired from Weirton Steel where he was a pipefitter in the Tin Mill, Filter Plant operator with 34 years of service.

George was a member of the Weirton Steel 25-year club.

He enjoyed reloading, hunting, gardening, home handyman, farming, and growing deer food plots.

George is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Lou (Harris) Yaich; son, Stephen (Jennifer) Yaich; grandson, Joshua S. Yaich; brothers, Dan (Carol) Yaich and Mike (Debbie) Yaich; and sister, Marge (Richard) Blaine.

Per George's wishes private family services will be held.

Burial will be held at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
