George William Pearce, 65, of Steubenville, OH, passed away October 23, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center West ER, Steubenville, OH.

He was born April 9, 1952 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late George E. and Mabel (Thomas) Pearce.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by birth mother, Marylou Queen and infant brother, John Edward Queen.

He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.

George was Christian by faith. He was a volunteer fireman and EMT for Smithfield Fire Department. George was an avid sports fan of Big Red football and band. George was a volunteer coach for Grant football and Steuben Striders.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Pearce of Steubenville; daughter, Kristen (Robert) Christian of Steubenville; sisters, Cheryl Irvin of Mingo Jct., OH and Kathleen Vincent of Gahanna, OH; grandchildren, Malik, Isaiah, Anastasia, Destynasia, E'Laysia, Ja'Zier, and Jay'Zeon Christian; nephew, George Irvin, Jr. of Mingo Jct., OH; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor George Irvin, Jr. officiating.
