GLENN R. McINTYRE, JR., 61, of Wintersville, OH, passed away suddenly Saturday, May 1, 2010. He retired as a turn superintendent from Weirton Steel after 34 years. He was born in Steubenville, OH, September 13, 1948, a son of the late Glenn R. and Margaret Ann Henry McIntyre, Sr. Those who knew Glenn knew he was a big Steeler fan. He was a member of the 25 Year Club, a former Jefferson County Deputy Sheriff and former member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Glenn was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. He leaves behind his wife, Dianna M. (Beatty) McIntyre, his sons, Jonathan (Cynthia) McIntyre of Prospect, PA, Jacob (Brenda) McIntyre of Bloomingdale, OH, Cody McIntyre at home and Philip (Ashley) Jones of Wintersville, a daughter, Kristina M. (Chris) Albu of Chicago, IL and 7 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wintersville. Final resting place will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
