Gloria Jean Alloggia, 81, of Weirton, WV, passed away September 15, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born January 6, 1934 in Smithfield, OH, a daughter of the late John "Jack" and Cora (Stratton) Hawkins.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James "Chec" Alloggia; grandson, Anthony James Alloggia; brothers, Jackie and Jimmy Hawkins; and infant sister, Mary Etta Hawkins.
Gloria was Methodist by faith and a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church. She worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was a realtor for Cain Realty.
She was a member of the Eastern Star. Gloria had a lovely voice and enjoyed singing.
She is survived by her sons, Ken (Barb) Alloggia of Richmond and Ryan Alloggia of Weirton; daughter, Kim Washel of Bridgeville, PA; mother-in-law, Angeline Alloggia; grandchildren, Erika (Myron) Rees, Whitney (Pat) Stewart, and Jenna Alloggia; great grandchildren, Lorenzo Alloggia, Hunter James Rees, and Olivia Lynn Rees.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Clint Quillen officiating.
Burial will follow at Northern Cemetery, Smithfield, OH.
