Gregory Richard Besozzi, 76, passed away August 29, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1947, in Lansing, Ohio, to the late Archie and Anne (Kusic) Besozzi.

Greg was a 1965 graduate of Bridgeport High School and a 1970 graduate from Ohio Northern University. He served as an English teacher and administrator in the Harrison Hills School District for 35 years.

In addition to his parents, Greg is preceded in death by his younger brother, Doug, and his several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lisa (Rizzo) Besozzi; his son, Gregg Besozzi; his grandson, Rocco; his nieces, Tiffany Besozzi of Columbus, Ohio, Brandi (Besozzi) Holloway of Cadiz, Ohio; and his sister-in-law, Cheryl Besozzi of Cadiz, Ohio.

Greg will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Friends will be received for visitation at Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 6-8 P.M. A funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Wintersville Methodist Church, 702 Main St, Wintersville, Ohio, at 10 A.M. with Pastor Clint Quillen and Father Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colerain, Ohio.
