Harold Douglas. Swinehart, 86, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026. He was born on March 1, 1940, in New Lexington, Ohio, to the late Harold and June (Hamilton) Swinehart. In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine (Wade) Swinehart; his granddaughter, Kelani Maguire.

He retired from Signode Steel Strapping where he worked for over 30 years. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. 

He is survived his daughter, Theresa 'Terry" (Gary) Maguire; his sons, Steven (Kathleen) Swinehart and Brian (Jennifer) Swinehart; his sister, Fran Geesey; his step brother, Vernon Benner; his grandchildren, Tescily England, Doug, Tim, Greg, Will, Caelin, Cannon, and Cara Swinehart; and his great grandchildren, Tauriel and Teylie England, Perrin Swinehart and twin girls on the way.

There will be a memorial service held at the Richmond Methodist Church, 112 S Sugar St, Richmond, Ohio, 43944, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2 P.M.
