Helen M. Hoobler, 95, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born on May 6, 1928, in Alikanna, Ohio, to the late Richard and Mary (Williams) Myers. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Bud" Hoobler; her son, Timothy Hoobler; and her 13 siblings.

Helen was a Sunday school teacher since 1964 and was actively involved in her church.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Janet) and John Hoobler; her daughters, Donna Byrley, Debra (John) Oberman, Lawana (Kim) Scott, and Angela (Jay) Shelton; her sisters, Mary Alice Stietz and Anna Dellar; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her 13 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, on Sunday, January 7, 2023, from 4-7 P.M. There will be extended visitation hours the next day at the funeral home, Monday, January 8, 2023, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. with Pastors Sterling Brown and Phillip Spellman officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
