Helen Kemeliotis

Helen Kemeliotis, 97, of Wintersville, OH, peacefully passed away on May 12, 2026 at Sienna Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born May 1, 1929 in Hopedale, OH, a daughter of late Dan and Mildred (Chovich) Enich.

Helen attended the Wintersville Methodist Church.

She was employed in customer service at Foodland and Sears for many years. Helen greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be remembered for her kindness to others and her caring nature. She also enjoyed doing word searches, crossword puzzles, and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Pete Kemeliotis, Sr.; son, Michael Kemeliotis; brother, Nick Enich; sisters, Mary (Nick) Village and Rose Grieco; brothers-in-law, John Sheposh and Sid Pettit.

Helen is survived by her son, Pete (Jeanne) Kemeliotis; step-son, Manuel (Shirley) Miller; daughter-in-law, Joyce Kemeliotis; sisters, Mildred (Pettit), Daisy Sheposh, and Violet (Denis) Nawrocki; grandchildren, Eric (Cera) Kemeliotis, Traci (Cris) Sykes, and Michael (Gail) Kemeliotis, cherished “Babee” to many great grandchildren who dearly loved her; many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

In honor of Helen’s wishes, there will be no services held.
