Helen L. McPeek, 92, of Wintersville, OH, passed away after a brief illness on January 8, 2018.

She was born on June 10, 1925 in East Pembroke, NY, a daughter of the late Frank E. and Ida Mae (Houseknecht) Grice.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond T. McPeek; three brothers, Glenn, Richard, and Robert Grice; and sister, Eleanor Nichols.

Helen was a beloved mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of the Finley United Methodist Church where she had been a youth leader, VBS director, Sunday school teacher of young children and she helped in the nursery, in years gone by.

She is survived by her children, Victoria "Vicky" McPeek of Rochester, NY; R. Drew (Patricia) McPeek of Cadiz, OH and Antoinette "Toni" (Pat) Cotturone of Suffolk, VA; sisters, Mildred Tuller of Batavia, NY and Pauline Silvernail of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren Raymond Drew II, Issac S. (Amy), Christopher "Chris" McPeek; David (Lori) Hill, Hadassah Damien, Luke (Monica) Cotturone,  Andrian (James) Melescu, and Robert J. Schumaker; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; beloved friends Joe and Karen Felix; several nieces and nephews; and her cherished dog "Taco".

Friends will be received at the Finley United Methodist Church on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor Jerry Ernst officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Finley United Methodist Church care of Ken and Sue Sawka ministries.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
