Helen D. (Santangelo) Petty of Mingo Junction, formerly of Dayton , Ohio , passed away April 8, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville .

She was born May 18, 1924 , a daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine (Meola) Santangelo. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Haskel Petty; six brothers; and five sisters.

Helen was Catholic by faith.

She is survived by her sister, Matilda Timcho of Mingo Junction; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral home, 685 Canton Rd. , Wintersville.

Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary , Steubenville .
