Obituary
Helen Naomi Rae Bedner, 85, of Richmond, OH, passed away February 15, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born March 24, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, a daughter of the late George William and Ora Jennette (Stouffer) Gratzinger.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edward John Bedner, Sr. who passed away August 17, 2016; daughter, Jennifer Bedner; an infant son, Robert Bedner; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Helen dedicated her life to her home and family. Helen was very interested and talented in music during her life and was a drummer in high school. She enjoyed planting flowers and driving.
Helen is survived by her sons, Edward (Laura) Bedner, Jr. of Brighton, Michigan and Jim Bedner of Houston, Texas; and grandchildren, Matthew and Hannah Bedner of Brighton, Michigan; sisters, Ruth Hyde, Nancy (Ray) Monticue, and Betty (Paul) Lenhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St. Richmond on Saturday from 2-4 PM and on Sunday from 2-4 PM where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Jack Ernest officiating.
Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
