Helen L. Rutledge, 81, of Circle Green Rd., passed away October 18, 2015 .

She was born January 2, 1934 to the late Archie and Leona Ray.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Rutledge; a son, Mark Rutledge; one sister; and three brothers.

Helen was co-owner of R&H Pallet Company, a member of the United Methodist Church of the Cross, an avid bowler, and loved to travel. She was a 1951 graduate of Carrollton High School .

She is survived by 3 daughters, Tari Rutledge (Jose Avalos), Babs (Bob) Vahalik , and Susan Rutledge (Jeff Mabe ). Her 4 grandchildren, Sarah Bany , Amy (Chad) Marcino , Bobby (Shauna) Vahalik , and Aaron ( Jae ) Hardin; 5 great-grandchildren, Bobby and Drew Vahalik , Brady and Cole Marcino , and Hunter Hardin; four sisters; and three brothers.

A special thank you to her caregivers, Natalie Robinson and Beverly Wood, lovi ng neighbors Tim and Lori Sutton and her church family.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church of the Cross, East Springfield on Friday, October 23, 2015 .
