Hisako (Chako) Mangiopane, of Amsterdam, Ohio passed away on March 11, 2014.

She was born in Chiba-Ken Japan on March 18, 1950.

She is survived by her loving devoted husband of 44 years, Richard (Dick), her two beautiful daughters who adored their mother, Umiko L. Post and Reiko M. Carey and her beloved grandchildren, Audrey, Max and Alex.

She is also survived by a large extended family in Japan who she visited every few years, her mother, Kazue, two brothers, one sister, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be greatly missed by them all.

Hisako and her husband enjoyed traveling overseas, Paris, Normandy beaches, Rome, Vatican, Florence, Venice, Munich, Prague, Budapest, Slovakia, Vienna, Salzburg, Mexico to name a few and their favorite beach getaway, Punta Cana Dominican Republic as well as their family visits to Japan.

She loved gardening and especially enjoyed her perennial flowers every spring/summer. She also enjoyed reading and picked up knitting in recent years and made many hats/scarfs/socks for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends but most of all she enjoyed doing anything and everything for her family.

Hisako was fortunate enough to have 7 of the best friends anyone could possibly wish for who have loved and supported her during her illness even from as far away as Georgia. She will never forget their love/kindness/friendship and neither will her family.

Friends will be received on Saturday March 15, 2014 at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of the memorial service at 12 Noon with Pastor Tom Snodgrass officiating.
