Howard A. Blake, 89, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 28, 2006. He was a farmer and a retired engineer from Penn Central Railroad. Howard was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Mingo Sportsman Club.
Howard was born May 19, 1916 in Richmond, OH, a son of the late Augustus and Metta Blake. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Blake, a son Howard E. "Butch" Blake, a brother William Virgil Blake, and two sisters Hazel McClave and Pauline Standiford.
Howard is survived by his good friends Bob Hendrix and Bob McLamara.
Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM with the Rev.
