Howard Cunningham, 89, of Irondale, OH, passed away March 15, 2021 at the Laurels of Steubenville.

He was born November 15, 1931 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late William and Frances (Eshbaugh) Cunningham.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, William, Wilber, and Floyd, sister Dorothy.

Howard retired from Timet and was a trustee at Elk Horn Christian Service Camp for many years. He volunteered as a handy man at Jefferson County Christian School for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ada (Zonker) Cunningham; sons, Howard (Bonnie) Cunningham, Paul (Crissie) Cunningham, Walter (Melinda) Cunningham, and Philip (Ana) Cunningham; daughters, Christine (Pete) Smith and Sylvia (David) Trice; brothers, Hugh (Karen) and Forrest (Retha) Cunningham; and sisters, Loretta (Joe) Bates and Esther Murphy; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at

1 PM with Pastor Rob Minto officiating.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
