Howard Hoobler, 77, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Howard was born January 31, 1945 in Richmond, Ohio to the late Lawrence "Tex" Hoobler and Anna J. (Smith) Hoobler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula; brothers, Lawrence and Alfred Hoobler; sisters, Lois VanFossen, Twyla White, Norma Elliott, and Jean Sheets.

Howard loved fishing, hunting, and being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret "Peg" (Pasco) Hoobler; daughters, Sandy (Todd) Argentine of Richmond and Heather Dickey of Mingo Jct.; grandchildren, Michael (Zach) Argentine, Hayley (Cam) Argentine, and Gianna Dickey; brother, Dennis (Sherry) Hoobler of Richmond; sister, Gloria Wilson of Lucas, OH and special family friend, Holly Carson.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 4-7 PM. A service will follow at 7 PM.
