IRENE BAKER, 88, of Bergholz, OH, passed away in her home Monday, November 06, 2006 following a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and member of the Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church. She was born in New Somerset, Ohio, November 21, 1917, a daughter of the late Henry and Rachel (Striker) Householder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Baker who died October 31, 2002; by two sons, Herschel Baker who died June 23, 2005 and Keith Spicer, a daughter, Rachel Cramblett, by 4 brothers, Henry and Charles Willard Householder and two infants, Harold and Robert; and by 5 sisters, Myrtle Gearin, Mabel Harbert, Wilma Reasner, Erma and Marie Householder and a granddaughter, Debora Hersey. She is survived by 4 daughters, Alice Baker, Bergholz, Wilma (Jim) Allender, Bergtholz, Donna (Jim) Armstrong, Punta Gorda, FL, and Bernice (Bill) Bonar, Bergholz; by 2 sons, Kenneth (Sue) Spicer, Harlem Springs, Harvey Baker, Bergholz; by 2 step-children, Ray (Joann) Baker, Cadiz, Nelda (Richard) Burchfield, Unionport, many grand children, great-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, with the Reverend Mark Thomas officiating.
