Jack A. Everett, 72, of Kent , Ohio , formerly of Bergholz, passed away March 18, 2013 at his home.

He was born February 3, 1941 in Alliance , Ohio , a son of the late Fred E., Jr. and Mary Jane (Baylor) Everett.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Connie L. Everett and brother-in-law, Byron Carson.

Jack graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors in Engineering and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the past president of the Portage County Realtors Association.

He is survived by his brother, Delmar Everett of Lebanon , Ohio ; sisters, Nancy Carson of Salem , Ohio , Connie (Hank) Waggoner of Uniontown, Ohio , and Janice (Jim) Dillon of Bergholz; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St. , Bergholz on Friday from 5-8 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM .

Jack will be laid to rest next to his parents in Fairmount Memorial Cemetery in Alliance at the convenience of the family.
