John "Jack" Harris 83, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Trinity Medical Center West. Jack was a Veteran of the US Navy and a retired crane operator of 50 years for operating engineers IUOE Local #18. He was a member of the Christian Church of Unionport and Unionport Chapter Masonic Lodge F&AM #333 where he also served as Past Master.

He was born November 16, 1937 in Unionport, Ohio a son of the late John Edward and Virginia (Shaw) Harris. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Harris and Carl Harris; sister, Janet Naegele

Jack is survived by his wife Drenda (Spurrier) Harris; two sons, Jeffrey (Debra) Harris and Tucker (Beth) Harris; daughter, JoAnn (Charles) Smith; grandchildren, Miranda (Anthony), Melanie, Hannahjo, (Jay), Jake (Caitlin), Ethan (Angela), Savannah, great-granchldren, Zach, Katherine, and Jack; sisters-in-law, Rose and Sally Harris, brothers-in-law, Tom Naegele and Robert (Janet) Ewing, Duane (Diane) Spurrier, Dorothy Spurrier.

Family and friends are welcome to Unionport cemetery for a graveside service on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 2 PM.
