Obituary

James "Chec" Lee Alloggia, 81, of Wintersville , Ohio passed away Friday October 21, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 1, 1930 the son of Angeline Palazzone Alloggia of Steubenville and the late James Lee Alloggia Sr.

James served his country during the Korean Conflict as part of the United States Army. James was Methodist by faith and a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church . He retired as Maintenance Foreman 80 inch dept. from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a member of Smithfield Masonic Lodge #182 F & AM, Smithfield Lions Club, and Wintersville Pigeon Club

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Hawkins Alloggia of Wintersville; sons, Ken (Barb) Alloggia of Richmond and Ryan Alloggia and fiancAC. Tasha Bish of Wintersville; daughter, Kim Washel of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren, Anthony Alloggia, Erika Rees, Whitney Washel, and Jenna Alloggia; three step granddaughters, Brianna, Cheyene, and Jazmine; great grandchild, Lorenzo Alloggia, and one on the way, Hunter James; and two brothers, Fred (Martha) Alloggia of Wintersville and Robert (Eileen) Alloggia of Richmond.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. , Wintersville on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Masonic service will be held at 7:30 PM on Monday night and funeral services will be held at 8 PM with the Reverend Clint Quillen officiating.
