James S. Carter of East Springfield , Ohio went to be with his parents James and Olive in heaven on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the age of seventy-nine.

He will always be remembered with love and respect as a great and loving husband and a kind and supportive father by his wife Joann, daughter Sharon, and son-in-law Jerome.

As a Weirton Steel retiree, United States Army veteran and Mason he was blessed in life and in return was a true blessing to his family.

The Carter family would like to thank all the relatives, friends, and care givers who supported them and made a positive difference in their lives, especially Jims.

A private family service will be held to celebrate Jim's life at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home in Richmond Ohio presided over by the Reverend Michael Thurston of the Amsterdam Covenant Church .
