Obituary

James D. Drylie, 83, of Richmond, Ohio passed away October 10, 2025 at Valley Hospice, Steubenville. He was born March 21, 1942 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late James R. and Helen (Hughes) Drylie.

Jim was retired from Weirton Steel and was a Veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing. Jim was well known as a wood working refinisher. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio St. Buckeyes. Jim was a member of the Richmond Methodist Church.

Jim is survived by his wife Sandra (Hanlin) Drylie; daughter, Darlene Harrison; son, David R. Drylie; grandchildren, Karlene and Mitchell Harrison; sister, Carolyn McCamic; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 3-6 PM. Funeral services on Wednesday at 1 PM with Pastor Tom Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates with military honors.
