James David Huff, 76, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026. He was born on September 23, 1949, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Frederick E. and Eleanor L. (Phillipson) Huff. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Huff; and his brother, Frederick L. Huff.

James was a faithful member of the Brentwood Church in Wintersville, Ohio. He was also a huge part of the Wintersville Little League Program.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (Westling) Huff; his children, David (Cara) Huff, Scott (Amanda) Huff, James Huff Jr., Kelley (James) Applegate, and Holly (Joshua) Williams; his grandchildren, James and OB Huff, Kinley, Caleb, and Chloe Huff, Cory and Nicholas Leonard, Casey (Wyatt) Garabrant, Morgan Adkins, Sarah (Dylon) Wade, Emily Adkins, and Colton Williams; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Cole, Natalie, Bentley, and one on the way.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 2 P.M. until time of services at 4 P.M. with Pastor Bill Westling officiating.
