Obituary

James W. Kustrin, 58, of Richmond, OH, passed away April 6, 2025.

He was born November 26, 1966 in Steubenville, a son of the late Walter James and Betty (McCallister) Kustrin.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Matt Kustrin.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

James was a wonderful, loving husband and father. He was a strong man to the end that those around him could depend on. He was always able to handle any situation put in his way with patience and perseverance. A man of few words with much love to give. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was meticulous in his welding career and in his care for his family with a love for both. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he has touched and been a part of.

He is survived by his wife, Heidi (Seamon) Kustrin; son, Joshua (Michele) Kustrin; daughter, Michaela (Eric) Norton; brothers, John (Robyn) Kustrin and Jason (Kelly) Kustrin; sister, Betty Jo Gray; and grandchildren, Emma Norton (age 8), Samira Kustrin (age 6), and Anna Norton (age 5).

Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be on Friday at 11 AM.

Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery.
