James William Marshall, 91, of Wintersville, OH, passed away March 27, 2025 at Valley Hospice, Steubenville, OH.

He was born April 23, 1933 in Akron, OH, a son of the late William A. and Ruth Marie (Esworthy) Marshall.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary I. Marshall; daughter, Shawn (Marshall) Pickens, grandson, Richard Bonecutter III, and brother Gerald Marshall.

James served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Timet where he was an industrial engineer. James was a member of the Unionport United Methodist Church and attended Wintersville Church of Christ.

He is survived by his daughter, Dayna Bonecutter; granddaughter, Ashly (Kenyon) Mcallister; and grandchildren, Mya and Ava.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
