James T. McConnell, 70, of Bergholz, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. He was born November 2, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Thomas W. and Edna Jane Rose McConnell. James was retired from Weirton Steel, was Presbyterian by faith, and really enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife Gloria Tingler McConnell, whom he married June 6, 1964; three sons, Todd L. (Mary Anna) McConnell of Central Square, NY, Scott A. (Jean) McConnell of Bergholz, and Thomas W. (Amy) McConnell of Bergholz; a daughter, Theresa H. Kerns of Wintersville; four brothers, Tom (Irene) McConnell of Carrollton, Jack (Clare) McConnell of Orlando, FL, Bob (Josephine) McConnell of Stow, OH, and Bill (Jean) McConnell of Wooster, OH; twelve grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services Friday 11 AM at the funeral home.
