JAMES E. McLAIN, 38, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away at 3:15 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2006 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, following a lengthy illness. He was the owner of Reviewer's Appraisal Group, Bloomingdale and was an Ohio licensed appraiser. He was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church and the Richmond Lion's Club. Jim had been a very active member in both the Richmond and East Springfield Volunteer Fire Departments and E-Squads. He was a social member of the Wintersville FOP # 97 and a long time member of the NRA. He was a 1985 graduate of Jefferson Union High School and a 1989 graduate of Heidelberg College, Tiffin, OH. Jim was born in Steubenville, OH July 3, 1967, a son of Edward P. and Patricia (Buchanan) McLain of Richmond. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert P. (Karen) McLain and their two sons, Maxwell and Samuel McLain of Dayton, OH. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday with the Reverend Gary Hicks officiating.
