James R. Medley, Jr., 84, of Wintersville, OH, passed away July 6, 2021 at Sienna Skilled Nursing Home.

He was born November 1, 1936 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late James R. Medley and Irene (Robinson) Medley Westfall.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant sons, Douglas and Gregory; grandson, Joshua; and sister, Donna Saddler.

Jim was Catholic by faith.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Jim retired from Weirton Steel.

Jim is survived by his wife, Patricia (Devono) Medley; sons, Kevin (Marla) Medley, Brian (Dottie) Medley, and Shawn (Jan) Medley; grandchildren, Rebecca (Ettor), Maddie, Justine, Shelby (Matt), Garrett (Melissa), Luke, Griffin, Alex; and three great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM.

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
