James Stone

James Leroy Stone, 86, of Bergholz, Ohio, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1939, in Bergholz, Ohio, to the late James and Evelyn (Finn) Stone. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Stone.

He was a faithful member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church.

James is survived by his wife, Nancy (Custer) Stone; his sons, Jimmy (Dec. Laura) Stone and Jeffrey (Brenda) Stone; his daughters, Janet (Mark) Collins and Jodi Stone; his sister, Kim Jolly; his grandchildren, Michael Elliott, Riley Stone, Shelby Richards, Conner Stone, and Marlé Clark; and his 5 great grandchildren.

In honor of James’s wishes, there will be no services held.
