Jamie Howell, 40, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away June 4, 2011.

He was born April 28, 1971, in Steubenville, a son of James and Linda Watt Howell.

Jamie is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, James Howell; maternal grandfather, Robert Watt; maternal grandmother Leona Watt; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Ruth Parks.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Michelle Parks Howell; son, Carrson James Howell; brother, Russell Howell; sister, Kristina Holland; and paternal grandmother, Edith Howell.

Jamie worked at the Harrison County Health Department as an administrator and director of environmental health. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoor life. He loved being involved with every moment of his son's life.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday. Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates. Send condolences online at www.everhart-bovefuneralhomes.com .
