Janelda M. Mason, 84, of Richmond, Ohio passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at UPMC Hospital Pittsburgh.

She loved her family, enjoyed playing games and sold Avon for many years.

She was a member of Richmond United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, was part of  Woman's Renewal, a member of UMW and 050 Club.

She was born September 15, 1933 in Annapolis, Ohio a daughter of the late James and Mabel Yocum Schoonover.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale "Buzz" Mason and two brothers, Paul and Norman Schoonover.

Jan is survived by her children, Debbie (Rick) Galliher, Sheila Mason, Rusty Mason, Craig (Lori) Mason and Marty Mason; brother, James (Ruth) Schoonover; 11 grandchildren, Tanya, Stacey, Carrie, Kim, Terrie, April, Amy, Caden, Holden, Dustin, and Brad; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond, Ohio on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Services 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Georgette Gaston officiating.

Private burial will be held at Richmond Union cemetery.
