Janie Lee Kmatz 69 of Bergholz, Ohio passed away December 5, 2021 at Carroll Healthcare Center. She was born January 29, 1952 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late William and Donna (Stewart) Stine. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Sean and Kevin Kmatz, and step-father, Howard Shepherd.

Janie loved sewing and crafts, was a 4-H advisor for many years, and loved animals.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Walter "Ike" Kmatz; daughter, Tonya (Earl) Bryan; son, William Joseph Kmatz; two brothers, Sherman (Joyce) Stine and Fred Stine; sister, Marge Wood; six grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, Ohio on Tuesday from 5-7 PM
