Janine Gale, 56, of Wintersville, OH, passed away April 15, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness.

She was born December 30, 1960 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Chris and Doris (White) DeCesare.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Denise A. Martin.

Janine was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wintersville.

Throughout her life she worked for Starvaggi Industries, Days Inn, Super 8, and Thompson Country Florist.

Janine was a dance teacher in Pittsburgh and started a private dance studio, Stardust Studio.

Janine is survived by her husband, Mayor Robert Gale of Wintersville, OH; her pride and joy son, Barry Gale of Wintersville, OH; sister, Vicki Gaston of Weirton, WV; special nieces, Marci Zangrando and Fallon Martin; many other nieces,nephews and cousins; many close friends; and her beloved hybrid jungle cats.

Janine's family would also like to thank everyone at Trinity East and West for their kindness and compassionate care.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.

Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Vigil 4 PM Tuesday.
