JASON E. BLAND, 30, of Mechanicstown, OH, died Saturday, November 11, 2006 in the Aultman Hospital Emergency Room, Canton following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School and had served in the US Marine Corps. He was born August 7, 1976 in Steubenville, OH, the son of Clifford R. Bland of Mechanicstown and Brenda (Kuryn) Bland of East Springfield, OH. Also surviving are a son, Ean Bland of Amsterdam, a brother, Logan R. Bland and wife Stacy of Carrollton, a maternal grandfather, Edward Kuryn of East Liverpool, 4 uncles, 2 aunts and 2 nephews. Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Thursday from 5 until 8 PM. Funeral services for Jason will be held at 8 PM Thursday following the visitation hours with Pastors Bill and Barb Buchanan officiating. Private burial services will be in the Scroggsfield Cemetery.
