Jeffrey J. King, Sr., 63, of Wintersville, OH passed away June 13, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born September 15, 1952 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Thomas Porter and Maxine (Mundy) King.

Jeffrey retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel after 39 years.

He was a member of the Steubenville Masonic Lodge #45 F&AM, OVRC, and Weirton Boat Club.

Jeffrey lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed camping, boating, and traveling, but most of all spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joyceann (Whanger) King; son, Jeffrey (Maddie) King II; daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Bane; granddaughter, Jayna Ziklo; a grandson on the way; brother, Thomas (Elaine) King of FL; his dog, Sadie Mae; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday with the Reverend Dr. Bill Lawrence officiating.

Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
