BEDNER, Jennifer Sue, age 39, lost her courageous battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 20, 2010, at 7:05 a.m. Jennifer was born on November 24, 1970, in Steubenville and raised in Richmond, Ohio. She was a devoted daughter, sister and friend, and a very proud aunt. Jennifer graduated valedictorian from Edison South High School in 1989. She graduated from The Ohio State University and was a true Buckeye. She had a pure heart and was always helping those in need, whether she was working for Lifeline of Ohio, volunteering at the Capital Area Humane Society, or watching over her family and friends. Jennifer loved going to The Counting Crows concerts, movie nights, anything Star Wars, and spending time with her family. Her sense of humor and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her. Jennifer is preceded in death by brother, Robert. She is survived by parents, Edward Sr. and Helen; brother, Edward Jr. and his wife Laura; brother, James Bedner; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Additional visitation, Thursday at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond, OH, from 6-8 p.m., and on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., followed by burial, Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, Ohio.
