Gerald R. "Jerry" Swickard, 80, life long resident of Richmond , OH , passed away July 14, 2015 at the Laurels of Steubenville.

He was born March 10, 1935 in Richmond , OH , a son of the late Donald D. and Emma (Krnich) Swickard.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Swickard.

Jerry was a social member of the Richmond Legion Post 740 and loved playing poker.

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Paul Swickard of Steubenville , OH and Mark (Karen) Swickard of Toronto , OH; sister, Dorothy Ardolino of Columbus , OH ; nephew, Steven Swickard; and niece, Alicia Ardolino.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St. , Richmond on Friday from 1:00 PM until time of funeral services at 3:00 PM .

A private burial will be held at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
