Joan Lamp, 88, of Mingo Junction, passed away in her home August 25, 2021. Joan was born January 12, 1933 in Middlebourne, WV. She is the daughter of the late Ellsworth Camden Whaley and Ruby Juanita Stoneking. She worked at the Big Bear Bakery for many years. Joan is proceeded in death by her husband Norman Lewis Lamp; sons, Ricky Lamp and David Lee Lamp, son-in-law Dennis Hatfield; daughter, Janice Moore; brother, Roy Whaley; granddaughter, April Lamp, and great- grandchildren Paisley, Brady and Elijah.

Joan is survived by her son, Michael (Marge) Lamp; daughters, Karen Hatfield, Debra Lewark, Sheila Lamp, daughter-in-law Nellie Lamp; brothers Robert (Betty) Whaley and Roger (Sandi) Whaley; sisters Jeanette Nelson and Cheryl (Dave) Barrick; twenty grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

The family wanted to extend a special thank you to the nurses Tasha, Danielle, and Carly from Amedisys Hospice.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
