It is with great sadness that Joan Audrey Mynster, 86, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on June 9, 2024. She was born on September 12, 1937, in Somerville, Massachusetts, to the late Albert and Alma (Gauthier) McElroy. In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her siblings, Veronica and Phillip McElroy.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Frederick E. Mynster Sr.; her sons, John (Mayra) Mynster and Frederick Mynster Jr.; her daughters, Delhi (Mark) Kearney; Faith (Robert) McCartney, Donna (Brian) Skipworth; Kathleen (Orlando) Coronado; and Mary Spencer; her siblings, Jean, June, Joseph, and Paul McElroy; her 23 grandchildren; her 29 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Risler; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received for at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 9 A.M. until time of services at 10 A.M. with Pastor Bill Westling officiating. Burial will follow at Toronto Union Cemetery.
