Joann M. Carter, of East Springfield, OH, went to be with her husband, Jim and her parents John & Elizabeth in heaven on March 29, 2017 at the age of 82.

She will always be remembered as a loving, selfless, and the kindest of souls by her daughter, Sharon, son-in-law, Jerry and her sister, Helen and family and friends.

As is the norm with the profession of domestic engineer and caregiving, Mom had not retired yet. She lived independently with her 3 cats Katie, Ginger, & Sugar up to 3 weeks before her passing. She enjoyed gardening, ballet, crafts and fine dining at JC Wine Cellars.

The family would like to thank all the relatives and friends who supported them and Joann in life.

A private family service was held to celebrate Joannás life at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home in Richmond, OH on April 4, 2017. It was preside over by the Rev. Michael Thurston of the Amsterdam Covenant Church.

Donations can be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, 200 Airpark Dr. Wintersville, OH 43952 in remembrance of her life.
