Joel B. Marsh Jr., 59, of Mingo Junction, passed away August 2, 2023. He was born on April 7, 1964, in Akron, Ohio, to Joyce (Bedford) Marsh and the late Joel B. Marsh Sr. In addition to his father, Joel is preceded in death by his stepfather, Kenneth P. Kaine.

Joel graduated from Wintersville High School class of '82. He was a hotel maintenance director for many years and was a fitness buff and excelled in electronics.

In addition to his mother, Joel is survived by his spouse, Holly; his daughter, Moriah (Brian) Prentice of Berkshire, NY; his dear friend, Marlene Bell of Steubenville, OH; his brothers, Grant Marsh of Steubenville, OH, Jimmy Marsh of Richmond, OH, Jason Marsh of Richmond, OH, and Greg Marsh of Wintersville, OH; his sisters, Angel (James Boniey) Marsh of Steubenville, OH, and Holly (Jimmie) Crites of Amsterdam, OH; his 3 grandchildren, Everett, Elmer and Gracelee; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joel's name can be made to Suicide Prevention.

Friends will be received for a memorial gathering at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 12-3 P.M.
