John L. Brothers 73 of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Clinton and Frances (Thompson) Brothers. John was a Vietnam War Veteran serving with the US Marine Corp. He was employed by Anthony Mining and Schaippa Coal.

John is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Turk) Brothers; son, John (Renee) Brothers; daughter, Lisa Brothers; grandsons, James and Adam Brothers; sister, Barbara (Raymond) Zak; brothers, Clinton Lee Brothers and Ernest Brothers.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. Wintersville on Wednesday from 6-8 PM.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jefferson County Humane Society.
