John S. "Junior" Wisnieski, 44 of Steubenville, OH, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Trinity Medical Center, Steubenville. He was born in Steubenville, OH, October 28, 1967, a son of John R. "Vish" and Olivia "Libby" (Kozick) Wisnieski of Steubenville. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Jason "Wiz" Wisnieski and his companion, Jennifer Caldrone, of Steubenville; his uncle Robert Kozick of Las Vegas, NV, Godmother, Linda Sampson, longtime childhood friend, John Foldi and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Junior was a truck driver by trade. He was an avid Big Red Football and Steelers fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching American Idol and the Animal Planet on TV. He loved the "oldies" including his favorite song by the Dells, "Stay In My Corner". He also hated to go "Kroger-ing" with his mother and his pet peeve was when she left dirty dishes in the sink. He left us with a lot of memorable times and laughs and he will never, ever be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather whom he adored, Stanley Kozick, and by his grandmothers, Letitia Medvis Kozick and Stella Wisnieski. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 until 7 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the hospital staff and all who helped with expenses.
