Obituary
John Gilbert "Moo" Moody, 84, of Steubenville, OH, passed away September 28, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center.
He was born April 11, 1932 in Mingo Jct., OH, a son of the late John Samuel and Alice Virginia (Cohen) Moody.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Rae (Beaman) Moody and brother, Richard Moody.
He worked for Weirton Steel for 40 years and was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club.
John is survived by his sons, Robert Lee Moody, Sr. of Weirton, WV and John Michael Moody of Toronto; sister, Joann Lykes of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Robert Lee (Joyce) Moody, Jr. of Steubenville, Jennifer Marie (Wallace) Lash of Toronto, Athena (Ken) Wallis of CA, and Tambra (Dustin) Isenberg of PA; and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, OH where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Jason Elliott officiating.
Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
