John W. Woodland, Jr. 75 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Wednesday November 2, 2016 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
He was a Union painter, loved playing billiards and was well known for it.
He was born October 4, 1941 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late John and Rosella Woodland. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters, Patti Cook and Sheri Devore; three brothers, Jessie, Paul, and Charles; two sisters, Easter and Priscilla.
John is survived by two sons, John (Nona) Woodland III and Robert (Linda) Woodland; daughter, Bonnie (Donnie) Eddy; two brothers, Hubert (Carol) Woodland and Jerry Woodland; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery.
