Obituary
He was born November 6, 1926 in Amsterdam, OH, a son of the late Joseph, Sr. and Frances (Pearson) McLaughlin.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Jane Robson.
He was Methodist by faith.
Jodie served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.
He worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.
Jodie was a member of the Amsterdam Moose and Men's McCook Bowling Association.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dolores "Dodie" (Thomas) McLaughlin of Amsterdam, OH; daughter, Patricia (Dorsen) McConnaughy of Wellsburg, WV; son, David (Angela) McLaughlin of Tipp City, OH; sister, Mary Rubis of Dover, OH; grandson, Colin McConnaughy of Wellsburg, WV; granddaughter, Corrine (Derek) Englert of Morrisville, NC; great grandson, Luke James Englert of Morrisville, NC.
Private graveside services will be held at East Springfield Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
