Joseph T. Pratko, 83 of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Sienna Woods Nursing Home, Wintersville. He was Catholic by faith and retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Joseph was born July 28, 1924 in Osceola Mills, PA, a son of the late John and Barbara Smith Pratko. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his companion of 25 years Elsie Pittman. One brother, Michael Pratko. Four sisters; Margaret Pratko, Pauline Kalish, Verna Guida, and Mary Bradford. He is survived by a son, Richard ( Becky) Pratko of Richmond, Ohio; a daughter, Marian Pratko of Steubenville, Ohio; two grandsons, Benjamin and Bryan Pratko; great-granddaughter, Azrielle, and a sister, Madeline Pratko of Ontario, CA. A memorial service will be held for Joe on Tuesday August 14, 2007 at 6 PM at the Everhart- Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond, OH.
